Jo first fell in love with writing as a teenager, when keeping a journal and penning her stories, poetry and song lyrics provided a much-needed escape and release. Although most of those works were never shared openly, they were her saving grace during adolescence. Unfortunately, life and circumstances pulled her away from her first love. It wasn’t until over fifteen years later when she finally gave into the call to return to fiction and poetry writing.
